The Hariri Foundation Saida Office, established in 1992, founded the coordinate neighborhood committee through representatives that intervenes in the daily coordination, to attain the communities needs based on specific criteria held by the office. The office conducts and studies the needs of the society to supply them with their demands and needs with the necessities of living of neighborhoods.
Throughout the years, the office provided in-kind and financial support for those who lost their families in the Kana Massacre in a rescue mission to protect their wellbeing and social stability by providing them with a specific amount of money after they have reached the age of 18 years old.
To this day, the office conducts constant needs assessments for individual neighborhoods and rapid response to address the local needs and demands with great concern. The office has also managed to create a children’s support program in public schools by providing students with scholarships and necessary equipment.
Previously and during the Israeli invasion, the office has worked on providing shelters for the needy, as the Foundation addressed the necessities of the people by providing them with homes, food, clothes, medicine, and supplies to those affected by the attack.
To this day, the office works on responding to the needs of the people aiming at maintaining stability and comfort to the community.
