The project aimed to introduce advanced greenhouse systems and greenhouse varieties through training farmers on good agriculture practices and integrated pest management, and by using methods to enhance vegetable soil production.
The project activity resulted in an increased production of tomato from 16 tons to 30 tons/ dunam. As well, 20% of the production cost was deducted, while providing training and extension to about 3000 persons and distributing 5000 field pocket guides for diagnose the diseases while providing control measures.
