A National Dialogue Platform within the National State Forum
In alignment with its mission to promote inclusive dialogue and participatory governance, the National State Forum at the Hariri Foundation launched a national conversation on the Ministerial Statement of the Reform and Rescue Government.
The initiative reflects the Forum’s ongoing commitment to engage communities in shaping Lebanon’s policy future through transparent, sector-informed discussions.
Under the theme “Saida Discusses the Ministerial Statement”, the Forum held its first sessions at the National State Academy in Saida, initiating an open dialogue around the government’s ministerial agenda.
These sessions explored the statement through the lens of seven key sectors, drawing connections to national reform priorities and the strategic framework for preventing violent extremism.
Every session began with a presentation highlighting sector realities, followed by in-depth readings of the Ministerial Statement and its intersections with local and national priorities. Participants from across Lebanon—including representatives of civic, professional, and educational sectors—took part in structured interventions and discussions designed to critically assess and expand on the government’s proposed policies.
