In 2023, Hariri Foundation partnered with Medcities and the Municipality of Saida to establish a new green space in Saida. The project aims at creating a new landmark destination and major facelift for the city and its neighborhoods. The public park, Al Aman Garden (Arabic for “Safety”), represents a major contribution to the ongoing urban regeneration of Saida, located on a prime plot at the heart of the Wastani coastal district. The park’s layout and landscape design were developed by the Municipality of Saida and Hariri Foundation, as a national model for innovative green public open spaces.
The public park comprises diverse zones, providing safe spaces for communal and commercial activities, children entertainment and learning, as well as urban agriculture and e-gardening.
