In 1996, the Hariri Foundation, in partnership with the Lebanese Ministry of Education & Higher Education and the National Committee for Public Schools (NCPS), launched a national initiative to establish, equip, and maintain kindergartens in public schools across Lebanon.

The foundation conducted surveys to identify technical and educational deficiencies in existing kindergartens, proposing a comprehensive plan to address these issues. As a result, 456 public schools were equipped with the necessary resources to enhance early childhood education.

Additionally, the foundation provided training courses to 425 kindergarten supervisors from 197 kindergartens in 150 public schools across various Lebanese regions. These training sessions aimed to enhance the supervisors’ abilities to communicate effectively with children, thereby improving the quality of early education in Lebanon.

This initiative reflects the Hariri Foundation’s commitment to improving the quality of education in Lebanon by focusing on early childhood education and providing the necessary resources and training to educators.
