The Hariri Foundation in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), within the framework of the SwitchMed II programme funded by the European Union (EU), and under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment, launches the first Lebanon Blue Economy Dialogue (LBED24) convening over 80 national stakeholders from various blue economy sectors for exchange.
LBED24 aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of the Blue Economy Dialogue nationally, integrate circular economy principles into the Blue Economy, facilitate knowledge exchange on best practices, innovative technologies, and effective policy frameworks, and strengthen networks and partnerships between public and private sectors. This dialogue stands as a pivotal milestone in advancing Lebanon’s commitment to a thriving blue economy and sustainable future.
