In 2017, Hariri Foundation partnered with UNESCO and the Consortium of Lebanese Universities to carry out the joint MOST School project. MOST School aims to promote the United Nations Agenda 2030 and policy research linked to the development of the Lebanese state as a State of Knowledge. The project featured the capacity development of young researchers and young professionals in research on emerging development issues and policy approaches.
Project partners delivered national lectures and discussions facilitated by a group of professors, teach-in’s as interactive informative sessions animated by a group of trained young speakers the theme of SDGs, and a series of national policy-oriented meetings and advocacy campaigns between youth and policy makers. Towards the end of the project, participants were engaged in developing policy papers on the subject matter for publication.
