Since 1982, Hariri Foundation has carried out tens of architectural restoration projects of key historical and heritage sites of cultural, social, and religious significance as well as 2000 residential units in Saida’s historic district. Those interventions reflect the commitment of Hariri Foundation to preserve the historical and cultural heritage of Lebanese historic districts, eradicating the physical destruction due to wars and natural disasters and increasing their competitiveness as global destinations of cultural and religious tourism.
