Following the Abra clashes of 2013, which led to the physical damage of building façades across the residential neighborhood of Abra, Hariri Foundation directly undertook a massive and rapid response to restore the façades and entrances of over 60 damaged buildings. The project aimed at erasing the traces of conflict in the shortest period possible to help society overcome the damage and grievances incurred by the clashes.
With the financial support of PM Saad Rafic Hariri and with the high-quality renovation works carried out by the General Construction and Contracting Company – Geneco, the project was completed within 3 months from commencement, securing a safe return of all residents and a safe restart of normal life in the area.
