In partnership with the National Committee for Public Schools and with the support of the Lebanese Ministry of Education & Higher Education, Hariri Foundation launched the Technology-based Literacy Program aimed at transferring and disseminating the culture of information technology to public school students across Lebanon. The program featured the upgrade of existing information departments through school information system software and the establishment of new information units in public schools.
225 public schools across Lebanon were successfully equipped with computers, and 450 administrative staff members were successfully trained across South Lebanon.
