In partnership with the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health and the Federation of Municipalities of Saida-Zahrani, Hariri Foundation established the Health Network of Saida & Neighboring Towns in order to strengthen local partnerships and coordination between health institutions and relevant official, private, and civic institutions in the Saida-Zahrani region. The network involves 267 institutions and hundreds of medical and nursing personnel in the region. It seeks to address common enduring and emergent challenges and to propose localized solutions and advocate for national sectoral reforms.
Activities of the health network involve planning for disaster preparedness, response and recovery, addressing sustainable health policies among developmental sectors, and empowering institutions to collaborate on health data management to implement data-informed community health programs.
