In partnership with the Lebanese Council for Development & Reconstruction, Hariri Foundation designed and delivered a joint project aimed at promoting local tourism and the handcrafts industry through capacity building and development. The project featured a training component though capacity building workshops offered to youth and women in Saida as well as an awareness building component through workshops promoting the local natural and cultural heritage.
Later, Hariri Foundation supported trainees and participants in designing income-generating activities and creating jobs in the tourism and handcrafts sector in Saida’s historic district.
