Year

2007 – 2008

National

In partnership with Mercy Corps, MASAR and IJMAA, Hariri Foundation initiated the LEARN project to enhance the safety and quality of the learning environment. The project featured the physical rehabilitation and equipment provision in 12 target schools. A community partner council was established at every school to promote sustainable improvements to education.

The project also featured the technical empowerment of students and teachers with an increased access to ICT through providing computer hardware and software as well as trainings on ICT-based curricula tools. A network between the schools’ councils was established to sustain outreach and exchange of strengths, findings and progress.
